A freestanding cave; a mineral pocket; an open mouth with a tongue of salt. The exterior is a rough, pocked white, the inside a gleaming purplish brown with a flume of seafoam running from the rim into the basin. A reciprocal seaweed colored smear runs from the mouth down the outside. Half of the thin, meandering rim has the surface of the exterior, and half the surface of the interior. It sits on a point, angling upward to swallow the light.
